KONTXT VOICE PRIVACY POLICY

Welcome to the KONTXT Voice Privacy Policy (“Policy”). This Policy describes the ways in which RealNetworks, Inc. (“Real”, “we”, “us”or “our”) collects and uses personal information from customers (“you” or “your”) of the KONTXT Voice software solution (“Voice”) and the KONTXT Voice website (collectively “Services”).

Information We Collect About You.

We collect information that is necessary to provide and improve our Services, to communicate with you, to conduct our operations effectively, and to support customer relations. Information collected may include:

·   Your contact information. This will include information you provide to us when you register for Services, such as: your telephone number, your use-name, name and email.

·   Information relating to your use of Services. This information will include call recordings and call transcripts and phone numbers associated with the calls you screen through our Service.

·   Information about your hardware. This information will include your unique device ID (persistent/ non-persistent, MAC or IMEI), hardware, software, platform, and Internet Protocol (IP) address.

How We Use Your Personal Information.

We use information to provide you with our Services, as well as to enable our operations. Such uses might include:

·   We use the phone number you provide to identify you and your carrier to provide the correct set up steps in implementing the Voice Services.

·   We use recordings and transcripts of calls to provide the call blocking services.

·   We may also use recordings, transcripts, and call numbers identified as spam to help us improve the call blocking Services. We will make reasonable efforts to remove all personal identifiable information, such as names, phone numbers (except those numbers that are identified as spam), from the recordings and transcripts prior to use for this purpose.

·   Enabling compatibility and interoperability.

·   Initiating automatic updates to downloaded Services.

·   Developing aggregated statistics that help us better understand how our Services are used and how to market them.

·   Communicating with you, such as sending you messages concerning your account and customer service issues; asking you to participate in surveys; and delivering news, updates, promotions, and special offers. You can opt-out of the marketing communications by contacting us via the contact information provided at the end of this Policy.

When and How We Share Personal Information with Third Parties.

We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as necessary for the purposes set forth in this Policy. In order to effectively operate our services and also provide optimal customer experience we share personal information with the following partners.

Service providers:

We may disclose personal information about our customers to our service providers in order for them to provide specific services to us. For example, we share personal information with third-party data center service providers such as AWS for secure storage. Our service providers are bound to keep all personal information they process confidential.

Analytics Providers:

We use third-party analytics providers such as Google Analytics to help us compile aggregated statistics about the operation and effectiveness of our Services. Third-Party Partners:

Voice websites may link to third-party websites or services. Certain products also allow the addition of third-party plugins.

In some cases, access to certain products and services may require the provision of personal information to a third party. In such cases, this will be stated during the registration process, in the terms of use, through the distribution process, or in a similar manner. The third party 's use of such information is governed by that party's privacy policy. Please visit the privacy policy of the third party to make sure you understand how they use the personal information you provide to them. If you do not wish for such transfer to take place, you should not register for the applicable product or service.

We may transfer personal information in connection with a sale, merger, transfer, exchange or other disposition (whether of assets, stock or otherwise) of all or a portion of a business of Real and/or its subsidiaries.

We may also disclose your personal information, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law; (b) comply with the order of a competent judicial authority in any jurisdiction; or (c) comply with legal process served on Real.

How to Access, Update and Delete Your Personal Information.

How Long We Keep Your Personal Information.

We will delete your personal information when you delete your account or three years from your last interaction with our Services. In addition, when you unsubscribe from Voice you can re-activate the Service within 30 days. After 30 days you will not be able to re-activate the Service, and we will delete your personal information from our Services.

 

CALIFORNIA DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) provides certain specific rights to California residents relating to their data. Those rights include the right to know the categories of personal information collected by us, sources of such information, how we use the information, the third parties with whom we share such information, and the right to delete such information. The following table provides you a summary of our data collection, use and sharing practices by data category in the preceding 12 months. Please note that this information supplements the information provided in the sections above.

California residents also have the right to not be discriminated against if they choose to exercise any of the above rights.
